Zibibbo Grape Elixir is the result of a particular processing of the Zibibbo grape and is obtained by cooking the grapemust with sugar until it reaches a gelatinous consistency.
Defined as grape honey, it is still used today, as in the ancient tradition, by Pantelleria and Sicilian women for the preparation of typical Christmas sweets “mustacciuoli”.
Delicious for breakfast with rusks. Excellent for ice creams, creams and puddings, it goes very well with spicy cheeses; delicious added to yogurt or vanilla or cream ice cream.
Zibibbo Grape Elixir can be used as a sweetener.
